Manama, Bahrain: Batelco, Bahrain's leading telecoms services provider has been presented with three awards at a prestigious international awards ceremony. Batelco took home two Grand Prix and one Gold award from the Dubai Lynx International Advertising Festival for its innovative and successful advertising campaigns of 2011, implemented by Bahrain's FP7. Batelco Senior Manager Marketing & Communication Abdulla Abuidrees was in attendance to collect the awards.
The Dubai Lynx International Advertising Festival, which is part of Cannes international advertising festival, is a yearly event to award creative excellence in advertising and related fields in the Middle East and North Africa. This year, Dubai Lynx received more than 2000 entries from all over the region including telecom operators and big international corporations.
Batelco Chief Executive Bahrain Rashid Abdulla said that he was delighted to receive the great news that Batelco had been recognised for its creative advertising programmes for 2011, and been presented with the coveted awards.
The Batelco Chief Executive Bahrain also extended his sincere thanks to all concerned at Batelco and FP7 Bahrain for their dedication and great efforts which delivered the selection of Lynx awards for the Company.

Batelco's success follows on from its recent recognition at the MENA Cristal Awards when Batelco took home four awards for their innovative and successful advertising campaigns of 2011. Batelco's participation at the MENA Cristal Awards was also in cooperation with FP7.Back
